Iowa Flood Center Precipitation Gages and Soil Moisture Probes

Access Rainfall and Soil Moisture/Temperature Data using the Iowa Flood Information System and any of the following three methods

METHOD 1 (Step by step instructions)

1. Visit http://iowafloodcenter.org
2. Launch IFIS >> http://ifis.iowafloodcenter.org/ifis/en/
3. Click Launch IFIS (View Screenshot)
4. From the dashboard, click LAUNCH in the STATE OVERVIEW tab. (View Screenshot)
5. Click Rain/Soil Moisture Gauges under the DATA RESOURCES tab. (View Screenshot)
6. The gauges should now appear, zoom in to the Turkey River Watershed by double clicking or using the controls in the upper left. (View Screenshot)
7. Click on an icon for basic information. Click the INFO buttons for more detailed data. (View Screenshot)

2. Click Rain/Soil Moisture Gauges under the DATA RESOURCES tab.

Bookmark a particular gauge using the links in the following table. Each gauge has a link for Rainfall Info and a link for Soil Temperature/Moisture Info.
